BrainStrong Prenatal
Does BrainStrong Prenatal contain all of your necessary vitamins and minerals?
BrainStrong Prenatal is packed with the best vitamins and minerals you could ask for during pregnancy. Although it is a fairly nontraditional prenatal vitamin, BrainStrong Prenatal is able to offer an increased amount of different nutrients since you take two separate vitamins each day. Let’s talk about my three favorite ingredients, or at least the three ingredients that are essential for a healthy and happy pregnancy.
In BrainStrong Prenatal, you’ll find 800 mcg of Folic Acid, a perfect amount to keep neural tube defects at bay. Additionally, the Iron content is stellar at a whopping 33 mg, a bit more than you really need during pregnancy. Oh, no! Here comes the problem child! Yep, it’s Calcium, and it doesn’t look good. There is only 300 mg of Calcium in BrainStrong Prenatal, not even 50% of your daily need. I can’t help but wonder why the manufacturer of BrainStrong Prenatal even put DHA into its own tablet. It seems like there was plenty of room left with all the missing Calcium!
Does BrainStrong Prenatal use the safest ingredients?
If this is your first child-to-be, you are probably over-the-top concerned with everything that you think might harm your baby, and it’s still in the womb! You definitely need to find a safe prenatal vitamin whether you are borderline crazy on the safety issue or just trying to enjoy life. I tend to think that the safest prenatal vitamins are those that give pregnant moms extra benefits so their stress levels can come down out of the clouds. BrainStrong Prenatal has given you some DHA, Folic Acid, Iron, and Calcium, as well as a lot of other great vitamins and minerals. The missing ingredients, though, are just as important: Probiotics, CoQ10, Choline, and Inositol.
Does BrainStrong Prenatal contain high-end ingredients?
Let’s take a look at the high-end ingredients that BrainStrong Prenatal offers: Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D3, and DHA.
Vitamin A is a no brainer. We all need it in our daily lives. So does your developing baby. With only 6,000 IU of Vitamin A in BrainStrong Prenatal, you should have no toxicity issues. When you get enough Vitamin A, your baby can develop properly and resist infections.
You probably have noticed Vitamin B6 on that cereal box label as well as plenty of other foods that you eat on a daily basis. But what is it? You will probably appreciate it much more while you are pregnant since it can tame your nausea. BrainStrong Prenatal contains only 2.5 mg. While the label says that is just right, I disagree. Most doctors would say you need more like 25 mg during pregnancy.
Vitamin D3 works on your bones. You should get at least 400 IU a day, and BrainStrong Prenatal gives you twice that. So be happy.
The last important high-end ingredient you get from taking BrainStrong Prenatal is DHA. It has its own softgel, because it is so important. Or perhaps things would have gotten a little tight if it was shoved into the same tablet as everything else. DHA should be taken in amounts of at least 50 mg all the way up to 200 mg. BrainStrong Prenatal went ahead and put in 350 mg.
Final Thoughts
You have to be picky when you are searching for the right prenatal vitamin. Sure BrainStrong Prenatal gives you a lot of vitamins and minerals and even some DHA, but didn’t it leave out some critical high-end ingredients? The top prenatal vitamin on the market will not let you down. See for yourself.
Best Prenatal Vitamin
After doing some research and taking as many as 6 different types of prenatal vitamins, I found a prenatal vitamin that works well for me, its called Prenatalgyn. Prenatalgyn contains all the essential ingredients, that recent research has found to be supportive for a healthy pregnancy. On top of all this many professionals and consumers have written and stated great things about this product.
Prenatalgyn Prenatal Vitamin is simply amazing. It only took a few days of taking Prenatalgyn and I could feel a noticeable difference. I suffer from extreme morning sickness (Hyperemesis gravidarum) and the ginger in Prenatalgyn significantly improved my morning sickness, this was a huge blessing (if you've ever had morning sickness you know what I mean!). I was able to swallow the capsules easily. I also seemed to have a better appetite, and it included all of the most important ingredients at the right amounts. Prenatalgyn does not contain any artificial colors, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils which are not good to have. I would highly recommend Prenatalgyn if you're pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
