A few recent studies have been done on CoQ10 and so far no adverse effects have been found with this ingredient. The amount in Trimedisyn is less than the amount used in several studies that have been done on pregnant women. Here is a link to a study that was done on 236 women using 200mg of CoQ10 during pregnancy the same amount found in Trimedisyn International Journal of Gynecology Obstetrics.

My main question and concern lies in the CoQ10... I have seen and heard on other sites and from other sources that it has not been determined to be safe during pregnancy. I would like to know a little more about why it is now thought to be safe and just maybe more information altogether. Other than that concern it sounds great to me. Thanks for any explanations that I can get.

Hello,

I noticed that the ingredients have fish oil, but wasnt specific about the gelatin source. Can you tell me if this prenatal vitamin contains fish gelatin or another animal base gelatin.

Thanks Aminah
