Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger

Does Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger contain all of your necessary vitamins and minerals?

You might be a bit scared of the future right now, especially if this is your first child. The one thing that can make things a little less daunting is taking a great prenatal vitamin. The reason why a prenatal vitamin could ease your fears is because you will know that many of the birth defects and complications that could arise will be lessened or even prevented by taking a prenatal vitamin. So many ingredients that are missing from most prenatal vitamins are essential to providing your child with the best health. Even you will benefit from most of the ingredients in your prenatal vitamin. That is, if you are taking the right one.

Even though Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger is a little different with the added Ginger, it still seems just like every other prenatal vitamin sitting on the shelves at the drugstore. The ingredients are all pretty much narrowed down to just vitamins and minerals, a terrible mistake. But vitamins and minerals are an essential building block in your child’s development. So, don’t get me wrong, they are important. There just should be more ingredients than vitamins and minerals. Iron and Folic Acid in Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger are both at great amounts. The Calcium, on the other hand, doesn’t quite meet the recommendations (only 20%). I am most happy about the Vitamin D and Vitamin A amounts since these two ingredients are both super essential for your child.

Does Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger use the safest ingredients?

As far as the vitamins and minerals are concerned, Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger is a safe prenatal vitamin. It’s also nice to know that Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger doesn’t have any artificial colors or flavors, nor any yeast, dairy, or gluten. If you are allergic to anything like that, you are probably quite aware how time saving it is for the label to tell you what is not included. The reason why I’d consider Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger unsafe is that there is no DHA, an ingredient that helps your child’s brain and eye development.

Does Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger contain high-end ingredients?

Four high-end ingredients are found in Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger: Ginger, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D3, and Vitamin A.

Both Ginger and Vitamin B6 have common characteristics: they help control your nausea. Morning sickness can be a real downer, but with a little Ginger and Vitamin B6 in your prenatal vitamin, you will probably be more upbeat and carefree.

Could Vitamin D3 really get you out of a rut? It might just help you come out of a depression (which is a common thing while you are pregnant), so you can get things done in your life. The other great thing about Vitamin D3 is that it can lower your risk for developing preeclampsia.

The 3,000 IU of Vitamin A in Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger is pretty much a relief. Some prenatal vitamins come shockingly close to the 10,000 IU toxic level. Vitamin A will help your child resist infections, which is perfect if you are having a winter baby.

Final Thoughts

At the very least, Fem Med Pregnancy + Ginger has some great high-end ingredients and other vitamins and minerals. The biggest disappointment is the missing DHA, CoQ10, Choline, Inositol, and Probiotics. But if you look at the best prenatal vitamin, you won’t be missing a single thing.

Best Prenatal Vitamin

After doing some research and taking as many as 6 different types of prenatal vitamins, I found a prenatal vitamin that works well for me, its called Trimedisyn. Trymedisyn contains all the essential ingredients, that recent research has found to be supportive for a healthy pregnancy. On top of all this many professionals and consumers have written and stated great things about this product.

Trimedisyn Prenatal Vitamin is simply amazing. It only took a few days of taking Trimedisyn and I could feel a noticeable difference. I suffer from extreme morning sickness (Hyperemesis gravidarum) and the ginger in Trimedisyn significantly improved my morning sickness, this was a huge blessing (if you've ever had morning sickness you know what I mean!). I was able to swallow the capsules easily. I also seemed to have a better appetite, and it included all of the most important ingredients at the right amounts. Trimedisyn does not contain any artificial colors, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils which are not good to have. I would highly recommend Trimedisyn if you're pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
