From the starting gate, New Chapter puts together an impressive list of ingredients and manages to stay away from the pitfalls of artificial flavors and colors, maintaining a clean record of a product that is vegetarian and gluten-free. Perhaps the first time we can see this product stumble is in its decision to place all these powerfully nutritious ingredients into a compacted tablet form. Although tablets are cheaper to manufacture (and thus keep the total price lower), they are much harder for your body to break down, and delay your body’s ability to absorb all those healthy treats. New Chapter gets a second wind with its herbal blend that includes a veritable garden of all-natural plants, and most importantly, probiotics.
