Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets

Do Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets contain all of your necessary vitamins and minerals?

Here is the cut and dry answer: No. With only 13 vitamins and minerals, and virtually nothing else to give your pregnancy a real boost, Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets cannot give your unborn child a healthy start. There is, of course, a chance that your child will be born without problems, but you don’t want to take any chances with your own baby.

Luckily, Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets have enough Folic Acid and Iron. There is a reasonable amount of Calcium, but you will have to eat a diet rich in Calcium to get enough each day. Prenatal vitamins should have at least those three nutrients to be worth taking at all. However, everyone has a deficiency of at least one nutrient, so you need to get the most vitamins and minerals in your prenatal vitamin to make up for any nutrient that you may be missing in your diet.

Do Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets use the safest ingredients?

Judging by the cost of resale of Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets (only $3.69 for 100 tablets), I doubt the safest ingredients are being used. Safe ingredients are usually costly, which is why safer prenatal vitamins, like Trimedisyn, are more expensive.

Do Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets contain high-end ingredients?

Only two high-end ingredients make their way into Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets: Vitamin B6 and Vitamin A. Vitamin D3 is another high-end ingredient, but Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets contains Vitamin D2 instead.

Although there is no ginger in Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets, you might be able to count on Vitamin B6 to pull you through morning sickness nausea. You also want to have Vitamin B6 in your diet if you are having trouble conceiving or have suffered through a miscarriage or two.

Vitamin A is an important high-end ingredient for both you and your baby. This vitamin can give your baby the ability to fight off harmful infections.

Final Thoughts

For three main reasons, I do not believe Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets are a good choice for any pregnant woman:

  1. Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets are cheap
  2. Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets only have 13 vitamins and minerals
  3. Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets do not contain many high-end ingredients

Cheap is sometimes great. But when it comes to prenatal vitamins, you should be looking into those that have high-quality ingredients. In order for Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets to be cheap, there must be something cheap about the ingredients overall.

The more vitamins and minerals, the better off you both will be. Look for a prenatal vitamin with about 20 vitamins and minerals. Look at the actual amount in the prenatal vitamin as well. You want at least the recommended value in most cases.

An optimal amount of high-end ingredients is important for a truly healthy pregnancy. There are at least six other high-end ingredients that Rite Aid Prenatal Tablets could have put in their tablets but didn’t. Choline, CoQ10, Probiotics, and Inositol are four of the more important (and rare) ones. If you can find a prenatal vitamin with those four, you have definitely hit the jackpot!

Best Prenatal Vitamin

After doing some research and taking as many as 6 different types of prenatal vitamins, I found a prenatal vitamin that works well for me, its called Prenatalgyn. Prenatalgyn contains all the essential ingredients, that recent research has found to be supportive for a healthy pregnancy. On top of all this many professionals and consumers have written and stated great things about this product.

Prenatalgyn Prenatal Vitamin is simply amazing. It only took a few days of taking Prenatalgyn and I could feel a noticeable difference. I suffer from extreme morning sickness (Hyperemesis gravidarum) and the ginger in Prenatalgyn significantly improved my morning sickness, this was a huge blessing (if you've ever had morning sickness you know what I mean!). I was able to swallow the capsules easily. I also seemed to have a better appetite, and it included all of the most important ingredients at the right amounts. Prenatalgyn does not contain any artificial colors, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils which are not good to have. I would highly recommend Prenatalgyn if you're pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
