GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal

Does GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal contain all of your necessary vitamins and minerals?

With most prenatal vitamins skimping on essential nutrients, it is a relief to find one, like GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal, that gives you much more than the average amounts. The following vitamins and minerals are contained in GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal for the health of both you and your precious baby:

  • Vitamins: A, C, D, E, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, B6, Folic Acid, B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid
  • Minerals: Calcium, Iron, Iodine, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Selenium, Chromium, Manganese, Molybdenum

The most important vitamin for pregnancy is Folic Acid. GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal gives you more than enough Folic Acid, 1 mg, to lessen your baby’s risk of developing a neural tube defect (you’ve probably heard of spina bifida).

Two of the most essential minerals you need during your pregnancy are Iron and Calcium. Unfortunately, the iron content in GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal is a little less than you need at only 18 mg. Something more like 27 mg is ideal, but maybe you should consider taking an iron supplement if your doctor thinks you need more iron in your diet. Calcium is normally the mineral that prenatal vitamins focus less on. However, with 600 mg in GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal, you can get excited. You probably want 750 mg a day during pregnancy, but it shouldn’t be hard to eat more food with calcium (especially vegetables rich in calcium) to make up for the difference.

Does GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal use the safest ingredients?

You better believe it! GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal doesn’t contain any harmful dyes or unnecessary sweeteners and preservatives. What GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal gives you instead is a healthy blend of fruits and vegetables in extract or powder form. Getting vitamins and minerals is great, but the whole reason we eat food instead of just supplements is to get extra benefits, like antioxidants. The fruit and vegetable blend in GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal can provide you with cancer fighting antioxidants, so your baby arrives healthy.

Does GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal contain high-end ingredients?

There area  few high-end ingredients in GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal: Ginger, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D3, and Choline.

Ginger will help with any nausea you experience during pregnancy, especially with morning sickness.

You should get at least 25 mg of Vitamin B6 on a daily basis during pregnancy. Since there are only 10 mg of Vitamin B6 in GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal, it does cause some concern, especially if you have a history of miscarriages. If you are having trouble conceiving, taking Vitamin B6 can help with that as well.

Besides Calcium, Vitamin D3 is another great ingredient for bone health. At just the right amount, 400 IU, the Vitamin D3 in GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal can put your baby one step ahead of the game.

The Choline found in GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal is in a very small amount, only 550 mcg. The recommended amount for pregnancy is at least 20 mg. Choline is an important ingredient in your diet for your baby’s brain development.

Final Thoughts

At first glance, GNC Ultra Mega Green Prenatal seems like it delivers everything and more for an almost perfect prenatal vitamin. But on a second, closer look, I could tell that there were quite a few things wrong with the formula. With the best prenatal vitamin, Trimedisyn, you are getting adequate amounts of vitamins, minerals, and high-end ingredients. Don’t settle for less, especially when it comes to your new addition!

Best Prenatal Vitamin

After doing some research and taking as many as 6 different types of prenatal vitamins, I found a prenatal vitamin that works well for me, its called Trimedisyn. Trymedisyn contains all the essential ingredients, that recent research has found to be supportive for a healthy pregnancy. On top of all this many professionals and consumers have written and stated great things about this product.

Trimedisyn Prenatal Vitamin is simply amazing. It only took a few days of taking Trimedisyn and I could feel a noticeable difference. I suffer from extreme morning sickness (Hyperemesis gravidarum) and the ginger in Trimedisyn significantly improved my morning sickness, this was a huge blessing (if you've ever had morning sickness you know what I mean!). I was able to swallow the capsules easily. I also seemed to have a better appetite, and it included all of the most important ingredients at the right amounts. Trimedisyn does not contain any artificial colors, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils which are not good to have. I would highly recommend Trimedisyn if you're pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
