GNC Women’s Prenatal Program
Does GNC Women’s Prenatal Program contain all of your necessary vitamins and minerals?
You might think you are eating a very healthy diet, with a variety of vitamins and minerals, but in most cases, it is just not possible to get every nutrient for a healthy pregnancy. Prenatal vitamins rich in nutrients like Folic Acid, Iron, and Calcium are essential to providing your baby with a healthy start to life. GNC Women’s Prenatal Program can give you enough Folic Acid (1000 mcg) and Calcium (1200 mg), but it is a little low on the iron (18 mg).
A dose of DHA can also help your baby’s eye and brain development. DHA is a nutrient we can get from fish, but if you are avoiding fish while you are pregnant (some fish have mercury which can be harmful to your pregnancy), then GNC Women’s Prenatal Program can give you enough DHA on a daily basis.
Does GNC Women’s Prenatal Program use the safest ingredients?
With no artificial flavors or colors and no gluten, wheat, or dairy, GNC Women’s Prenatal Program wants pregnant women to know that their ingredients are safe for both them and their babies. A part of me wants to know if their ingredients are organic or taken from the best possible sources. A safe ingredient should be free of harmful chemicals, yet there is probably a small chance that any prenatal vitamin is made completely naturally.
If you want safer ingredients, you have to look into the best prenatal vitamin on the market, Trimedisyn. Free of hydrogenated oils, Trimedisyn is a trusted prenatal vitamin that can make your pregnancy easier.
Does GNC Women’s Prenatal Program contain high-end ingredients?
Some high-end ingredients found in GNC Women’s Prenatal Program are DHA, Vitamin B6, Vitamin D3, Choline, and Vitamin A.
I’ve already discussed DHA with you, but you are much better off taking a prenatal vitamin with DHA, than having to buy a completely separate supplement for this nutrient.
Vitamin B6 is in most prenatal vitamins. With this nutrient, you will probably not struggle to conceive, and your risk of having a miscarriage will be reduced. Although GNC Women’s Prenatal Program does not include ginger, Vitamin B6 might be able to help with morning sickness symptoms just as well.
Along with calcium, Vitamin D3 helps your baby’s bones grow strong.
GNC Women’s Prenatal Program also includes some choline. Choline will make your baby’s brain cells grow so that later on in life, they will be able to retain what they are learning much better.
The last high-end ingredient contained in GNC Women’s Prenatal Program is Vitamin A. With Vitamin A, your child’s embryonic development will go much smoother.
Final Thoughts
I am not completely opposed to GNC Women’s Prenatal Program with its high-end ingredients and essential nutrients for your baby’s development. However, I do not think that GNC Women’ts Prenatal Program is unique enough for a pregnancy that is smooth sailing. You might still struggle to keep food down without any ginger. In regards to overall wellness of your child, GNC Women’s Prenatal Program is full of great nutrients.
Best Prenatal Vitamin
After doing some research and taking as many as 6 different types of prenatal vitamins, I found a prenatal vitamin that works well for me, its called Prenatalgyn. Prenatalgyn contains all the essential ingredients, that recent research has found to be supportive for a healthy pregnancy. On top of all this many professionals and consumers have written and stated great things about this product.
Prenatalgyn Prenatal Vitamin is simply amazing. It only took a few days of taking Prenatalgyn and I could feel a noticeable difference. I suffer from extreme morning sickness (Hyperemesis gravidarum) and the ginger in Prenatalgyn significantly improved my morning sickness, this was a huge blessing (if you've ever had morning sickness you know what I mean!). I was able to swallow the capsules easily. I also seemed to have a better appetite, and it included all of the most important ingredients at the right amounts. Prenatalgyn does not contain any artificial colors, preservatives, or hydrogenated oils which are not good to have. I would highly recommend Prenatalgyn if you're pregnant or plan to become pregnant.
